Job Summary

Hamadeh Educational Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our school buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain indoor and outdoor grounds, including cleaning, landscaping, and snow removal.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing doors, hardware, walls, and ceilings.
  • Assist with plumbing maintenance, including fixing faucets, flush valves, and hot water heaters.
  • Provide necessary maintenance reports and documentation as requested by supervisors.
  • Recognize and address health, safety, and security issues, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, principals, and superintendents.
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation for working at multiple locations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance.
  • Experience working with children and in a culturally diverse setting.
  • Masonry and tile work experience a plus.
  • Experience with light electrical repair and basic HVAC unit maintenance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
