Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Collision Refinish Technician to join our team at Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Paint. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality refinishing to collision damaged components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply refinish materials to achieve accurate color matches and high-quality finishes.
  • Operate various equipment and tools to prepare and paint vehicle components and assemblies.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure repairs meet company standards.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience in automotive collision repair and refinishing.
  • Knowledge of refinish products, mixing systems, and application techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate or degree in automotive collision repair and refinishing.
  • I-CAR Professional Development Program Level 1 or higher.
  • Paint manufacturer training and certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to hazardous materials. The employee must be able to work in a variety of environments, including heat, cold, wet, and dry conditions.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to continuously stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Able to manipulate small hand tools and equipment.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
