Job Overview:
Bowlin Group is in search of a dependable CDL Operator to enhance our Communications Division. This position plays a vital role in the secure and efficient transportation of equipment and personnel to various project locations. While the majority of work will be conducted locally, this role may necessitate travel and occasional weekend shifts. Skills related to this position are not mandatory, as the chosen candidate will undergo thorough training. The CDL Operator will be based out of our Walton, KY office.

Key Responsibilities:


• Safely drive company vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks and other vehicles requiring a CDL, to transport equipment and staff to and from job sites.

• Conduct inspections of vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns, performing preventative maintenance as needed.

• Strategically plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules in collaboration with project managers and team leaders.


• Follow truck driving regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) along with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation of work/rest periods and kilometers driven, while retaining fuel and toll receipts.

• Promptly report any defects, accidents, or violations to the appropriate supervisor.

• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials as required.

• Ensure that loads are secured according to safety standards to prevent damage to cargo.

• Perform other related duties as necessary to effectively and safely complete the job.

Physical Standards:
• Capability to engage in physical tasks such as climbing, bending, stooping, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Environmental Conditions:
• Work is conducted outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions and potential hazards.
