Job Summary

At Apple, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Services Engineering organization. As a key member of our Data Science team, you'll play a critical role in driving decision-making for our engineering and product teams through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct A/B tests to inform product decisions
  • Develop and maintain advanced statistical models to drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
  • Present complex analytical concepts and findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Requirements
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field
  • Proven expertise in statistical experimentation methods, including A/B testing and experimental design
  • Proficiency in SQL, Spark, Python, R, and Scala
  • Deep understanding of common data science toolkits, including pandas, NumPy, and dplyr
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Matplotlib

Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Data Science or related field
  • Knowledge of Bayesian methods, multi-armed bandit, and causal inference
  • Statistical modeling and machine learning experience
