Electrical Engineering Department Head Opportunity

Management Business Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Department Head to lead our team of experts in the design and implementation of electrical systems for industrial projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the electrical design team in the development of electrical systems for industrial projects
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including NFPA 70 and IBC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects
  • Develop and maintain project specifications, construction drawings, and shop drawing reviews
  • Responsible for resolving issues and conflicts that arise during construction

Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program in the United States
  • PE registration in the state of South Carolina or the ability to obtain the same NCEES registration desirable
  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a registered PE in electrical design of industrial projects
  • Experience with defining and specifying electrical design loads, preparing power load sheets, equipment selection, and development of project specifications
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work as a team within the Electrical Department and with other disciplines
