- Team Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team, providing coaching and feedback, and recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Operations: Maintain a high level of operational efficiency, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to ensure seamless store operations.
- Visual Merchandising: Support the visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain merchandise flow, filling, and presentation standards throughout the store and stockroom.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Communication Skills: Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Math and Computer Skills: Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills.
- Leadership Qualities: Ability to operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, setting the example for leaders and associates.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Lifting and Moving: Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Standing and Walking: Frequently stand and walk for long periods of time, and climb ladders as needed.
- Visual Abilities: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This is a part-time position, requiring a range of 20-40 hours per week. As a National Retailer, flexibility with work schedule (able to work weekends, nights, peak holiday periods) is required.
