Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Neuro team at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality clinical support to our patients and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with hygiene care, vital signs, and communication with the care team
  • Perform 12-lead EKG duties, wound care, stoma care, and specimen collection
  • Apply and document restraints as directed by the RN or physician
  • Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges
  • Order and maintain office and patient care floor stock/supplies
  • Perform unit secretary duties, including maintaining patient charts and responding to phone calls
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification
  • Preferred: 1+ years of previous experience in a healthcare setting
