Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural, and emotional needs of patients and their families are met.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care plans and progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care and progress accurately and thoroughly.
- Associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state is required.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
