Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Central Carolina Hospital. As an ICU RN, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural, and emotional needs of patients and their families are met.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contributing to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; BSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Carolina or compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
