Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Integrated Submarine Imaging Engineering Technician to contribute to our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of systems and equipment at various locations. Key responsibilities include conducting tests, evaluations, and certifications of AN/BVY-1 systems, as well as validating and verifying electronic systems associated with the ISIS System and Photonics Mast Variants (PMV), including Mast Technical Insertion (MTI) and Low Profile Photonics Mast (LPPM).
Key Responsibilities
- Install, monitor, and maintain systems and equipment at various locations.
- Conduct tests, evaluations, and certification tasks for AN/BVY-1 systems.
- Validate and verify electronic systems related to the ISIS System and Photonics Mast Variants (PMV), including MTI and LPPM.
- Develop technical documentation for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), including technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
- Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI) as necessary.
- Provide training on system operations and performance to other personnel.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience with a High School diploma/GED, or six (6) years of experience with an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, mathematics, or science; or formal electronics training from a technical school or military program.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and designing solutions for operational hardware and software issues.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Work Environment
- Onsite work environment.
Security Clearance
- Must possess a Secret clearance.
