Objective:

Support customers in identifying products and services that align with their preferences while generating interest in the merchandise. Drive sales by achieving or surpassing productivity benchmarks. Responsible for precise and complete sales transactions.

Core Responsibilities:

Guide customers in selecting adidas products, providing insights on materials, technology, and functionality.

Uphold adidas customer service standards by actively listening to customer needs and delivering relevant product information.

Facilitate and finalize sales using adidas selling techniques and the in-store AOS system (where applicable).

Process customer transactions (cash, credit, debit, etc.) accurately.

Maintain store presentation, assist in merchandise processing and replenishment, and address customer service inquiries.

Possess thorough knowledge of adidas products and programs, including technology, product details, promotional offers, and advertising.

Contribute to a collaborative team environment by respecting colleagues.

Adhere to adidas brand values and Sales Associate competencies.

Assist with phone-related duties.

Comply with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by store management.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrate the competencies relevant to the role consistently.

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.

Ability to compose simple correspondence.

Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and fellow employees.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.

Handle problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.

Utilize a point of sale system with a basic understanding of cash register operations and cash handling procedures.

Exhibit sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Showcase excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Provide outstanding customer service.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Availability for overtime during peak sales periods is also required.

While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, communicate, and listen. Frequent walking, handling, reaching, climbing, and bending are necessary. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 12 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 34 kg.

Proficiency in English and French (both verbal and written) is essential.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required or in progress.

Preferred experience includes three to six months in a retail environment.
