What does a typical day entail for a Warehouse Technician?

As a Warehouse Technician, you will:

  • Engage in a blend of warehouse and cleanroom activities related to semiconductor wafer production.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, packaging, storing, loading, unloading, and shipping materials efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of all materials; conduct quality audits of incoming goods and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to optimize the flow of goods and manage warehouse space effectively.
  • Maintain workplace organization in accordance with company standards.
  • Adhere to stringent quality and safety protocols.

This position may be ideal for you if you meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant warehouse experience; over 1 year in warehouse management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulations regarding HAZMAT material handling and storage, with certification or willingness to obtain certification as needed.
  • Demonstrate a passion for logistics and possess knowledge of contemporary warehousing practices.
  • Proficient in computer operations for various job tasks.
  • Have a functional understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exhibit a strong attendance record with previous employers.
  • Maintain a reliable work history with minimal short-term job changes.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Show technical aptitude and the ability to learn new skills swiftly.
