**About the Role**

Mission Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Mission Imaging Services. As an Ultrasound Imaging Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Assess emergency situations accurately and think independently to make sound decisions.
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as necessary.
  • Produce superior quality imaging studies without constant supervision.
  • Routinely work within a minimum of 2 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT or CCI Vascular certification as directed by department managers/supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related profession.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire. Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT or CCI required upon hire.
  • High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN.

Preferred Experience:

  • 12 months previous experience in ultrasound.
