Position Overview:
We are looking for a Civil or Environmental Engineer to assist in various engineering projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and support for groundwater extraction and treatment systems.
  • Investigation and design for groundwater and soil remediation.
  • Wastewater treatment design and construction oversight.

Location:
Lincolnshire, IL

Key Responsibilities:
As part of a multidisciplinary design team, you will:

  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analyses based on essential design criteria.
  • Provide field support for environmental projects, including sampling, inspections, and data management.

Travel may be required for field investigations, up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in technical report writing and excellent communication skills.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Familiarity with standard business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Adobe, etc.).
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is also preferred.
