Job Summary

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems on our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to team members on avionics and electrical systems, including testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
  2. Leadership: Lead and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Quality and Safety: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  5. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; six years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four years of related experience.
  2. Licenses and Certifications: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred; other FCC licenses and NCATT certifications preferred.
  3. Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of avionics and electrical systems; ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
