Dosimetry Technician

Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Dosimetry Technician to provide radiation protection dosimetry support for the upcoming 2024 outage at Brunswick. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe use and proper operation of applicable equipment, adhering to station policies and procedures, and effectively communicating with co-workers, supervisors, and sponsors to ensure safe and quality job completion.

• Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access to the nuclear plant
• Safe use and proper operation of applicable equipment
• Use and adhere to station policies and procedures
• Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, supervisors, and sponsors
• Participation in a Basic Radiation Protection Training program
• Minimum of 6 months experience in commercial or military nuclear power facilities

• High School Diploma or GED
• Workers must be trained in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations
• Satisfy all requirements required to obtain a Level II Nuclear Access Badge
• Competition of GAP training / CIRP Task of the NISP-RP-12 (Nuclear Industry Standard Process)
