Nuclear Dosimetrist

We are seeking a skilled Dosimetry Technician to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company. As a Dosimetry Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of our nuclear power plant.

• Provide Radiation Protection dosimetry support as required for power-plant activities.
• Perform routine tasks commensurate with individual certifications, qualifications, and skills.
• Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access to the nuclear plant.
• Safe use and proper operation of applicable equipment.
• Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, Supervisors, and Sponsors to ensure Safe and Quality job completion for all assignments.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Workers must be trained in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
• Satisfy all requirements required to obtain a Level II Nuclear Access Badge.
• Completion of GAP training / CIRP Task of the NISP-RP-12 (Nuclear Industry Standard Process).

• Minimum of 6 months experience in commercial or military nuclear power facilities.
• Participation in a Basic Radiation Protection Training program.
