Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team at National Vision. As a primary eye care specialist, you will play a critical role in enabling and safeguarding our patients' ability to experience their best vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality primary eye care services to patients, including routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and eyeglass prescriptions.
  • Manage ocular disease to your comfort level, including but not limited to:
    • Treating corneal ulcers and uveitis
    • Red eye
    • Diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma
    • Removal of foreign bodies
    • Diagnosing macular disease, retinal holes and retinal detachments
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an Accredited School of Optometry
  • State Licensed or will be licensed to practice Optometry (New Graduates) in the state in which you will be practicing.
