Job Opportunity

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at our medical facility in Mount Dora, FL. This is a 2+ months assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Job Details:

  • Location: Mount Dora, FL 32757
  • Duration: 2+ months Contract (Possibility of extension)
  • Shift: M-F 6:30 AM-2:30 PM with rotational weekends
  • Payrate: $16-18/hr. (based on experience and educational qualifications)

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner
  • Preparing specimens for lab testing
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Working independently with minimal on-site supervision

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in phlebotomy or a related field
