Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant who is passionate about providing essential medical services to our diverse patient population. In this role, you will deliver primary health care services in alignment with your training, certification, and licensure, adhering to the established practices and mission of Sea Mar Community Health Centers. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a collaborative care team to deliver high-quality health services to patients.
  • Provide primary medical care in accordance with your qualifications and state regulations.
  • Refer patients to specialists or additional services as necessary.
  • Prescribe and dispense medications based on your authorized prescriptive authority.
  • Engage in preventive health initiatives, including immunizations and health education programs.
  • Contribute to clinical operations by collaborating with administrative and medical leadership to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation and patient care paperwork.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (flexible full-time equivalent)
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Direct patient care in person

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree and certification as a Physician Assistant, licensed in Washington State.
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and certification by the relevant board.
  • Current DEA certification.
  • Compliance with all vaccine requirements for employment.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in community health settings is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
