About the Job

The Santa Clara Development Corporation is seeking an Environmental Services Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the EVS department, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing according to departmental policy and procedures.
  • Inventories, restocks, and replenish supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, etcetera, located in all assigned areas of the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment and notify appropriate personnel as repairs become necessary.
  • May perform special projects such as window washing, wall washing, etc.
  • Responds to questions and requests from resort guests and strives for great guest service.
  • Performs all functions according to established OSHA and SCDC policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
Requirements
  • Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
  • Must be able to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals.
