Application Development Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team of software engineers dedicated to building the next generation of applications for our USAA membership. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in helping our engineering team to get organized and successfully execute our product backlog and priorities following USAA's Scaled Agile practice.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate major Agile ceremonies across multiple development teams
- Consult with and advise teams to support a smooth working transition to Agile practices
- Enable continuous improvement and facilitate communication across teams to proactively manage dependencies and remove impediments
- Support and educate product owners, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog and decision making
- Influence and facilitate the empowerment of a self-organizing team
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience
- 4 years of relevant experience in process improvement, project management, software engineering, or business/requirements analysis
- Knowledge of multiple Agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean, SAFe, DevOps)
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $99,160-$189,530.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
