Job Summary

As an Automated Logistical Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain management. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and perform specific functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts. This includes establishing and maintaining records, maintaining stock locator systems, and administering document control procedures. You will also be responsible for processing requests and turn-in documents, performing prescribed load-list and shop-stock list duties, and operating material-handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain storage facilities and equipment
• Develop and implement efficient stock control and accounting procedures
• Coordinate the movement, storage, and maintenance of ammunition and other supplies
• Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures for handling medical and food supplies

Requirements

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor
• Familiarity with material-handling equipment and procedures

Training and Development

You will receive comprehensive training in supply chain management, including 10 weeks of Basic Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. This training will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role and prepare you for a civilian career in supply chain management.
