Job Summary

As an Automated Logistical Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain management. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and perform specific functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts. This includes establishing and maintaining records, maintaining stock locator systems, and administering document control procedures. You will also be responsible for processing requests and turn-in documents, performing prescribed load-list and shop-stock list duties, and operating material-handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient stock control and accounting procedures
• Coordinate the movement, storage, and maintenance of ammunition and other supplies
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of performance, cost, and parts data through improved maintenance management

Requirements

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate material-handling equipment

Training and Development

You will receive 10 weeks of Basic Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, which includes practice in handling and storing stock. This training will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role and prepare you for a civilian career in supply chain management.
