We are seeking highly skilled Transportation Design Engineers to join our team in the western United States. As a key member of our multidisciplinary consulting firm, you will be responsible for delivering engineering designs for Local, State, and Federal highway and transportation projects.
You will support teams in the design and delivery of roadway infrastructure projects varying in size and complexity, working with multidisciplinary teams in a leading or supporting role. Your expertise will include detailed CAD design, including roadway geometric design, and assisting in verifying code compliance, quality checks, and implementing QA/QC procedures.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering engineering designs for Local, State, and Federal highway and transportation projects.
- Support teams in the design and delivery of roadway infrastructure projects varying in size and complexity.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams in a leading or supporting role.
- Provide assistance to our design team as required, which may include the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar programs.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related engineering field and EIT certificate (minimum).
- Project experience with federal agencies (FHWA, NPS, USFS, NRCS, etc.) is a plus.
- Well versed in transportation design including AASHTO, MUTCD, NACTO, and State DOT Manuals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, planning, organizational, and analytical skills. You will also have experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation InRoads and/or OpenRoads, and be able to work under tight deadlines and with geographically dispersed teams.
What We Offer- $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
