Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team in Silverton, Idaho. This is a full-time, permanent position in one of our partner Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per yearJob Description

Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Patients

As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a critical role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Your expertise will help improve patients' ability to communicate effectively, regain swallowing function, and enhance their overall quality of life.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans to address patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services in various medical settings, including SNFs, home health, outpatient clinics, or hospitals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and reimbursement requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A current state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for CCC.
  • Experience working within a medical setting; SNF, HH, Outpatient, Post-Acute Rehab, etc.
