Job Summary

Cone Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospital team in a full-time night shift position. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our registered nurses in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Collect patient history and medical information to provide complete case documentation in hospital medical records.
  • Develop and implement care plans as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider to meet patient needs.
  • Ensure proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies around sterile environments.
  • Communicate healthcare instructions to patients and families in a clear and concise manner.
  • Respond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital precautions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A diploma in practical nursing.
  • Completion of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) within 4 years of hire.
  • A current LPN license in North Carolina.
  • BLS (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
