Why Choose Us?The Heavenly Home is a unique 6-bed facility located in Orange County, designed specifically for elderly individuals who require specialized care during their final stages of life. Our mission is to create a warm, home-like environment where residents can feel safe and cherished.
Our CommitmentWe collaborate closely with medical hospice partners to ensure that all aspects of our residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. Our goal is to facilitate meaningful experiences for residents and their families, allowing them to focus on creating lasting memories.
Shift DetailsWe offer 8.5-hour shifts during the night from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Role Responsibilities- Conduct safety checks on residents.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Support residents in maintaining personal hygiene.
- Provide medication assistance as trained.
- Accompany residents to meals and activities.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms.
- Handle resident laundry as needed.
- Document and chart relevant information accurately.
- Assist with dietary needs, including meal preparation.
- Ensure the health and safety of all residents at all times.
- Complete incident reports as required.
- Report any health, safety, or sanitation concerns to supervisors.
- Engage residents in activities and communication.
- Respond to emergencies, including contacting emergency services when necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training as mandated by regulations.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess the following:
- Clear DOJ and FBI fingerprint background checks.
- Current first aid certification.
- Health screening with a negative TB test (must be recent).
- Ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted and push 40 pounds unassisted.
- Compliance with facility policies and state licensing guidelines.
