Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package includes base salary, equity, and benefits such as comprehensive health insurance, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $133,000 to $162,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors.

Job Responsibilities

We're looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new products, features, and tools for our customers' autonomy development workflows
  • Collaborating with domain experts across various fields: infrastructure, robotics, and graphics engineers, as well as startup veterans
  • Designing and developing efficient and effective solutions to complex engineering challenges
  • Contributing to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A PhD degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Software development experience, coding in a general-purpose programming language
  • Experience designing efficient and effective solutions to a wide range of engineering challenges

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of frontend, API layer, database ORM, containerization, or cluster orchestration frameworks (such as React, GraphQL, SQLAlchemy, Docker, or Kubernetes)
  • Experience working with simulation tools, modeling physical problems, or using robotics middleware (such as ROS)
  • Expertise in methods and tools for engineering design, verification, and validation, or a similar related area
