Financial Records Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Financial Records Specialist to contribute to our operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring precise financial documentation, managing transactions, and aiding the overall fiscal activities of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep accurate financial documentation, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Conduct daily data entry for financial transactions.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Regularly reconcile accounts and bank statements to maintain accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Facilitate financial audits and external assessments as needed.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting.
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including Accounts Payable/Receivable and General Ledgers.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
