The Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of our production environment. Your expertise in DevOps tools and technologies, such as GitLab and Terraform, will be instrumental in driving our infrastructure modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the production environment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance system health and availability.
  • Support applications through OnCall rotation, providing timely and effective assistance to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement automation and eliminate manual work, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, ensuring that our infrastructure is well-documented and easily maintainable.
  • Work closely with the incident response team to identify and address performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools and technologies, including GitLab and Terraform.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to build and enhance observability using monitoring tools.
  • Proactive approach to observability maturity, identifying problems and areas for improvement.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS and API gateways.
  • Experience developing APIs or microservices is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of source version control systems, such as Git.
