Job Summary

The Janitorial and Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-represented work and guest environment at Living Spaces. This includes ensuring the showroom, bathrooms, offices, parking lot, and warehouse are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all company training modules, including Onboarding training, department safety, vendor/product training, and sales training.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs of the entire store to address any areas of concern.
  • Partner with other Team members to ensure the showroom floor is 100% according to Living Spaces brand guidelines.
  • Engage with all guests throughout the store.
  • Operate the floor scrubber and vacuums daily to ensure all tile floors and carpet areas are clean.
  • Dust, wipe down, and clean all areas daily.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, breakrooms, and common touch areas throughout the store.
  • Maintain records of all equipment used.
  • Conduct weekly stock checks on all supply inventories.
  • Build productive working relationships with outside vendors, in-store staff, and leadership.
  • Support a culture that drives positive company outcomes.
  • Work weekends and most holidays.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year of retail experience in a custodial or janitorial role.
  • Commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
Compensation and Benefits

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPIs.
