Job Title: Retail Team Member Sales

Locations: Store #63 Benbrook

Salary: $13.75 per hour

Work Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Days and hours vary; 2 Days Off per Week

Job Summary: We are seeking a Retail Team Member Sales to join our team. As a Retail Team Member Sales, you will be responsible for managing the Point-of-Sale system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately. You will also provide excellent customer service, greet customers within seconds of arrival, and assist customers on the sales floor to select and locate merchandise.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage POS system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers within seconds of arrival
  • Assist customers on sales floor to select and locate merchandise
  • Assist with maintenance of hangers, and sizing of textiles on sales floor
  • Return empty racks and carts to production area
  • Restock depleted merchandise
  • Responsible for the overall appearance of the sales floor
  • Perform all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team
  • One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred
  • Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical stamina needed to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching (6 ft. with use of ladder, if needed); and pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds, heavier lifting may be required with assistance

  • Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, background check, drug screen and physical examination
