Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Merchandise Sales Executive Team Leader to join our team at Target. As a key leader in our store, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members and leaders, managing department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a team that executes inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store.
  • Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture and lead your team to prioritize the guest experience and deliver on store sales goals.
  • Develop a strategy and utilize your workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring you are guest ready at all times.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with your team to ensure completion of tasks and workload.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Manage conflict, lead and hold others accountable.
  • Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
