**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist the Restaurant Manager in directing and organizing staff to meet high standards of service and food quality
* Supervise the floor during meal periods to ensure all standards and steps of service are met
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including checklists, requisitions, and opening/closing functions
* Communicate effectively with guests and employees, using a positive and clear speaking voice
* Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local practices, including ServSafe and Responsible Vendor
* Coordinate and document reservations, and organize special events in the restaurant

**Requirements:**

* Restaurant management experience required
* Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including supervisory skills, service techniques, and guest interaction
* Ability to obtain government required licenses or certificates, including CPR Certification and/or First Aid training
* ServSafe Certification required
