The Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Oncology Department. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless coordination of services.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinate and facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Current ACLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
- Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills.
- Provides safe and appropriate age-specific patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan.
- Displays appropriate judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
