About the Job

We're seeking a qualified Full-Time Direct Support Professional to join our team at Community Access Services. In this role, you'll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and participate in community activities.


Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living skills, personal care, and household tasks.
  • Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in community events and activities.
  • Administer medications according to training and maintain accurate health and behavioral records.
  • Foster a safe, clean, and respectful environment in the home or community settings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, families, and external providers.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; previous experience in caregiving or social work is preferred but not necessary.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to advocating for individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • The ability to pass a background check is mandatory.
