Job Summary:

As a Front End Manager at Restaurant Depot LLC, you will be responsible for ensuring that product is properly loaded, rung up, and processed accurately and timely. You will also handle customer problems and issues to develop a spirit of positive customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and evaluate cashiers, front-end loaders, and checkers
Ensure safe operating procedures are followed
Make recommendations for hiring, firing, and promoting employees
Prevent long lines and delayed customer checkouts by anticipating busy times and developing weekly schedules
Ensure all employees at registers are performing cart-to-cart transfers when processing sales
Secure the front end by preventing loaders and cashiers from exchanging information on counts from the receipt
Ensure loaders are loading wagons and assisting customers to the parking lot
Monitor loaders to ensure they are loading all product and checking open boxes for integrity
Ensure the front end has proper staffing and operating equipment for quick and accurate checkout
Review cashier and loader errors and document them in a log
Handle adjustments, returns, over-rings, voids, and other issues to maintain a smooth flow of customers
Maintain a New Item Request log and review it weekly with the Branch Manager
Ensure customers have adequate supplies of wagons that are working and roll easily
Assign employees in slow periods to do other work, such as returns or processing of damages
Ensure all supervisors are completing a minimum of 5 test checks per day
Maintain the integrity of F/E displays and stocking areas
Ensure registers are stocked with Rate Us Cards, flyers, hot sheets, store maps, etc.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma with at least 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures
Effective oral and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations
Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation
