Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the direct supervisor for a team of developmental therapists (SLP, OT, PT, MT), managing the daily operations of the site.
  • Address real-time operational challenges, which may involve modifying the physical environment, acquiring necessary equipment, optimizing room assignments, and managing performance issues.
  • Collaborate with the site leadership team to ensure exceptional experiences for team members, parents, and patients.
  • Maintain a strong on-site leadership presence during clinic operating hours.
  • Meet weekly productivity expectations, adjusted based on the number of direct reports.

Expectations for Billable Activities:

  • Conduct discipline-specific evaluations and treatments.
  • Complete all documentation requirements within the designated timeframe.
  • Manage team productivity, scheduling needs, documentation efficiency, and overall clinical quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to ensure consistency and integrity of the Cortica Care Model.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and collaborate on merit recommendations.
  • Oversee time-off requests and work closely with scheduling to optimize coverage.
  • Participate in the hiring process for new team members as needed.
  • Represent Cortica's program with professionalism in all communications.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations regarding confidentiality and ethical practice.

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree or doctorate in a related field.
  • Licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, or Physical Therapist in California.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with a strong desire to enhance leadership skills.
  • Experience in leading teams within a clinical environment and managing developmental therapy programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster team growth while prioritizing process improvement and customer service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, particularly in communication and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient information protection.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, including those with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
