Job Summary

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a travel nursing position in the Emergency Department. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examination.
  • Develop and implement education plans for patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
