We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a travel nurse. As a travel nurse with Travel Nurse Across America, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care to patients in the emergency department.
- Clean and bandage wounds, and provide IV therapy as needed.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Document medical history, check for allergies, and obtain patient vital signs.
- Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being, and provide emotional support as needed.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in the emergency department.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
