Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

At Interim HealthCare Careers, we're seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). As a Home Health CNA, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases in their homes
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake
  • Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Monitor vital signs, measure intake/output, and document any changes
  • Collaborate with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed
  • Report any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment to the supervisor

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Colorado
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
  • No Covid Vaccination Required
  • Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
