Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Development Engineer II to join our team at Kia America. This role will be responsible for leading the development of new vehicle products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle development, with experience in leading technical programs and managing cross-functional teams. They will be responsible for developing and implementing technical strategies, working closely with engineering teams to ensure that products meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of new vehicle products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies, working closely with engineering teams to ensure that products meet customer expectations.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing teams.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure that products meet customer expectations and are aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and test plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle development, with a strong background in technical leadership and program management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in vehicle development, including experience with ADAS and EV/HEV powertrain systems.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required to support testing and vehicle reviews.
