We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team at Cardinal Paint & Powder. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for testing extruder flakes and mill powder samples to ensure they meet our high quality standards.
You will work closely with our Extruder and Mill Supervisors to communicate product sample test results and determine recipe adjustments to ensure products are produced within quality specifications in the most efficient way.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all QC tests and operate all QC equipment
- Calibrate specified QC test equipment and ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements
- Collaborate with Extruder and Mill personnel to discuss any questions or concerns
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficient in MS Office and able to understand, speak, read, and write in English. Must be able to lift 55 lbs and stand for 8-10 hours daily. Must be flexible to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
Personal Protection
Appropriate attire and footwear, non-slip steel toe boots are mandatory. Personal protective equipment shall be worn when going into production areas.
