Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Bashas'. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for performing all phases of front-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Process and reconcile daily banking transactions, including cash and change orders.
  • Monitor and report on sales receipts, including bank deposits, change orders, and cash variation reports.
  • Assist in auditing work and respond to company accountants as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting; experience with retail accounting software a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
