Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Associate to join our team at Fresh Grocer. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and processing merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Processing Merchandise: Verify all invoices for accuracy involving cost, retail, and quantity. Handle damaged or return to stock products according to Company policy, with priority given to refrigerated, perishable items and sell by date.
  • Grocery Storage Area Maintenance: Monitor grocery storage area for cleanliness, neatness, and preparing for next shift (i.e., make bale, reclamation, plastic, and pallets).
  • Customer Service: Greet all Customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
Requirements:
  • Age and Education: Must be 18 years or older to operate balers, hi-lo's, power jacks, and slicing machines.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift. Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
  • Language Skills: Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
Compensation and Benefits:

Estimated salary: $ $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
