Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our team, providing patient care in and around the Fort Oglethorpe Area. As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in the lives of our patients, working under the guidance of a registered nurse to ensure their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide personalized care to patients, following their carefully crafted plan of care to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
- Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
- Provide support for families, sharing your knowledge and expertise to guide and support them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to agency and regulatory standards.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice experience a plus.
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated.
