We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician III to join our team at Shasta Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, cat scan, mammography, bone density, ultra sound or special procedures according to department protocols.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assist in maintaining department supplies and equipment.
- Supervise radiology staff in the absence of the supervisor.
- Promote teamwork and good customer service.
- Assist in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Effective July 1, 2017 national certification in three modalities or if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in 2 modalities and leadership experience required.
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- One year of acute clinical radiography preferred.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
- Proficient computer skills.
