Role Overview:
The VISTA Member will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare accessibility for underserved populations by delivering capacity-building services to public health organizations across Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and disseminate informative materials to keep FCCs updated on resources, events, and opportunities.
- Engage in Marketing committee discussions and maintain the membership database.
- Collaborate with healthcare facilities and external consultants to execute and promote the Valuing Services Initiative.
- Regularly audit and refine member data to ensure accuracy.
- Enhance WAFCC's database functionalities using Salesforce.
- Support outreach efforts to attract new FCC members.
- Assist clinics in their enrollment process with WAFCC.
Includes a relocation allowance, training opportunities, an education award upon successful completion of service, housing support, childcare assistance (if eligible), a choice between an education award or end-of-service stipend, a living allowance, and health coverage.
Terms of Service:Requires a vehicle for transportation, allows for school attendance during off-hours, and permits additional employment during off-hours.
Service Areas:Focus on Community Outreach and Health initiatives.
Required Skills:Strong communication abilities, knowledge of law and public health, community organization skills, non-profit management experience, fundraising/grant writing expertise, and first aid certification.
