Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide critical care expertise and excellent patient care on our intensive care unit.
Responsibilities:- Prioritize nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data and identify needs for intervention.
- Demonstrate appropriate decision making, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to make nursing decisions and identify healthcare needs.
- Evaluate and document each patient's response to medications, interventions, and procedures.
- Assist in the formulation, coordination, and implementation of the patient's Plan of Care based on the assessment of their individual needs.
- Ensure ventilator, monitors, and other equipment are functioning properly.
- Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized, and function well under stressful situations.
- Collaborate with fellow members of the critical care team.
- 1-2 years ICU nursing experience preferred.
- Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor preferred.
- Must obtain ALS or ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer into ICU.
- TNCC required within 18 months of hire or transfer into ICU.
